Anything Goes - Mid Month Inspiration at Imagination Crafts

Morning my lovelies, and many thanks for all your good wishes, yesterday and for visiting my blog, I promise I will get around to all the blogs, I am trying not to spend too much time typing, so taking it a bit at a time..I love you all for your support...

Today is the Mid Month Inspiration for Imagination Crafts - April Challenge - Anything Goes...I had a lot of fun making this project, which will be going into my bathroom, hopefully by the end of this week, as Brian is having a couple of days off...The colour, well, that took a few attempts, but got it right in the end...

Did you all catch Sue on Create and Craft, last Thursday and Friday, wasn't she amazing..I am waiting for a delivery of some goodies, so will share my projects with you, soon, I hope.

Panel Stencil - Topiary Leaf
Sparkle Medium - Diamond Sparkle
Sparkle Medium - Silver - Sorry not in stock at the moment
Brayered the off cuts with Teal Sparkle Medium, then Diecut the butterflies and dragonflies

I bought this frame in a Charity Shop for £1, and decided to go around the picture that was in it..ideal for a bathroom, don't you think..I added little flowers pots, filled with Lavender, smells fabulous, so looking forward to long soaks in my new bathroom.

How I made this Project.

I first painted the whole frame in Gesso, once Dried, I added the umpteenth attempt at the Aqua Blue, acrylic paint, once this was dry, I used a little Sponge, and sponged over White acrylic paint, to give a calm clouds effect.   Once all this was dry, I used the Low Tack Tape to keep the Topiary Leaf, Panel Stencil in place, at the top left hand corner. and used the Silver and Diamond Sparkle Medium, from Top to Bottom.  I then adhered the Topiary Leaf Panel Stencil, to the bottom right corner and used the same Diamond and Silver Sparkle Medium from Top to Bottom.  I had some Blue Flowers Patterned Card left over from a previous project, so I brayered Teal Sparkle Medium over this, once Dry, I Die-cut the Butterfly and Dragonfly (Memory Box, from Mc Oyster at Poles Apart)..then added the small pots filled with lavender...Finished Project, and I actually love this...

The prize for the challenge is a whopping £40 voucher to spend in Imagination Crafts Shop,  how amazing is that.   The rules of the challenge can be found here.

I would like to enter this project into the following challenges:-
