Things That Go Bump In The Night

A Fantastic Tuesday Morning to all my blog friends, I am in heaven watching QVC's Craft Day, and chatting to my buddies, I have got Brian busy decorating my bedroom, as we speak, I bought paint and bedding yesterday, also managed to put in a visit to The Paper Shop in Livingston and Hobbycrafts in Edinburgh, fab.....

Well Tuesday Taggers has a new challenge this week, which is "Things That Go Bump In The Night" and as usual everyone of our talented DT's have made fantastic projects, so I urge you to pop over and take a look, and please, please, join in with us.  I made this candle which will make a fine gift for my grand-daughter Sinead, she is 11 and will love it for her bedroom, it glows in the dark which you cannot see from the picture, I must give you a laugh, I brought it in on Saturday night to photograph it, to show the glow, and Brian said, you are mad, the flash will go on.....and it did..stupid me...this was so easy to do with Rub-on transfers, I have not made a candle before so I am pleased with the outcome, I added ribbon and gems in the "Halloween" colours.

I am also going to enter this into Cute Card Thursday, who have "Spook Fest" as their challenge this week.

Off to visit your blogs to see what you have been up to, but before I go, I want to thank you all for your GOOD WISHES yesterday.   You are all so important to me, and without my followers I would not have had the confidence to enter challenges and become a DT....so THANK YOU ALL.   You all know that I am going to the SECC on Thursday so I am going to pick up some "CANDY" I always had in mind that when I had 100 followers I was going to do Candy, I have 96 at the minute, so watch this space on Friday or over the weekend for more details. Hugs Avril xxxx

Boni has asked me to Enter this over at Digital Ink Co whose challenge DIC007 this week is "Anything but a Card", thanks for the heads up Boni, hope I am not to late adding this, and I will sure be looking out for the challenges in future. Hugs Avril xxx

Love this candle Avril. My granddaughter is not 2 yet so she is probably a bit wee for a candle lol. Congrats on the Sophisticat DT and hope you enjoy your visit to SECC. I'm going on Sunday. Can't wait.

Hi Avril, me again. It would be really nice to meet you and say hello at SECC if you go on Sunday. We leave Aberdeenshire about 6.30 and have one stop on the way. I think we get there before 11am and leave again about 4pm and get home about 9pm. Long day but worth it. My email is on the blog where I announced the winner of the mini candy. If you want to email me I could give you my mobile number you could text me on Sunday sometime between 11am and 4pm and we could arrange where and when to meet. If that's ok with you?
