1 card 2 challenges

A good Saturday morning to you ladies. I am sorry I went AWOL yesterday. As you know I had a day out on Thursday with my hubby, Edinburgh is very hilly.....and I was in agony yesterday, but it was worth it. The Edinburgh Festival starts properly tomorrow, but the Fringe has been on this past week, where there are many talented people who do "street acts". I sometimes look at them and think, when did they realise they had this special talent.....it is very enjoyable to watch them. We had a lovely day, I had a look in a local craft shop, which used to be mainly "rubber stamps" but unfortunately it has been taken over and the new owner, has mainly the stock that I already have in my shed.... we had a gentle stroll into town after visiting the shop, stopping to have a drink on the way, it was beautiful weather, so we were able to sit outside and watch the world go by..sheer BLISS, we had a meal in the "Muscle Inn" which as the name says, sells pots of Muscles in various sauces, I just love this place, Edinburgh at this time off year is alive with every nationality and when you have a day out, you feel like you are on holiday too, very satisfying. I got no work done yesterday as I was too sore to even go on my computer, but I was up early this morning and made a card which I hope fits 2 challenges. Delicious Diva gave this fantastic sketch for their 1st challenge, and A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge 63 wanted "floral fantasy". I am off to catch up with you all and see what you have been up to over the last 48 hours, and then I am going back to my shed to hopefully get my card done for Promarkers. Love to you all and hope you are having a great start to the weekend, at least the sun is shining.....Hugs Avril

Hi Avril - I bet it was lovely just watching the world go by and seeing the street acts must be a wonderful experience. Something I would like to do. I've not been to Edinburgh since 1980 when Joe and I attended a friends wedding - but it is a lovely City. We used to go to an Italian restaurant in Leith - Love Lesley x
