Brand New Challenge - Things to Alter - February Challenge - Anything Goes NON CUTE

Well thank you for bearing with me my friends, this is the last post for today.

I was delighted to be asked to be a DT for the Brand New Challenge - Things to Alter.

Jac is very talented and brings drawing to life with MDF (and you will not believe, how very affordable her prices are) - Things to Alter SHOP

So without further ADO - our February Challenge is:- Anything Goes - NON CUTE

Here are my projects:-

Tissue Box - Using
Tissue box Painted with Acrylic Paints, after adding a coat of Gesso 1st coat Sage Green Acrylic Paint, 2nd coat Forest Green Acrylic Paint.
After the 2nd colour of paint - was Sanded Down (mostly by Brian) to give
a distressed look - then Added Imagination Crafts - Stencil - Steampunk.(which sadly looks like is no longer available)  Sponged through with Sea Spray Acrylic Paint.  The box was then edged with Dewdrops - Cosmic Copper Ink Pad.
The Diamond Mask was treated to a coat of Black Acrylic Paint, then gone over with Forest Green Acrylic Paint.  The Steampunk Cog Lady was coloured using Promarkers - colours Black, Hearthstone, Pesto, Chestnut and Saddle Brown.
The Diamond Mask and Steampunk Cog Lady, were adhered to the Tissue Box with

Tag - Using
Things to Alter - Tag Blank, Music Set and Piano
The Tag Blank was treated to a coat of Black Acrylic Paint.  I then Stamped a background stamp, from my stash - with Perfect Medium, then embossed with a Clear embossing powder. I then went over the tag with Lagoon Acrylic Paint, when paint was still tacky, I wiped it off with a damp paper towel, leaving a distressed kind of look and the stamped image, visible.
The Piano and Music Symbol were treated with Acrylic Paints, Lagoon, Black and Red I also went over the Piano with a Black Gel pen to give a cracked impression. Finally edged around the edges of Tag, Piano, Music Symbol and Paper with Dewdrops Teal Ink Pad.
