Morning my friends, and can I say a quick Happy Birthday to my Dad, who would have been 79 today, still wish he was at the end of the phone.....
Now, onto business...LOL....although Valentine's day has passed, we still want to feel that "Love is in the Air" don't we? so lets keep it going...I am sharing my Mid-month Inspiration card, for Imagination Crafts, February challenge - Love is in the Air...hope you like it...here is how it was made:-
Using:- Imagination Crafts products:-
I started out with a 6 x 6 Scalloped White Card Blank, then I cut the Silver Mirri Mat at 5 inches, and the Black Satin card, to 4.5". I placed the Flourishes Stencil over the Black Satin card, and used the Bright Red, Sparkle Medium, and spread it over with my Spatula. Whilst this was drying, I took another piece of Black Satin card, and die cut it with my X-cut scalloped heart die...then I stamped the Bird of Paradise, from the Gilding Set, using a Versamark Ink Pad and here is where it was tricky, LOL..tried various Embossing Powders from my Stash and eventually settled on a Tinsel one, that I had, (not to self, buy more embossing powders, LOL). Then it was a case of putting all the elements together, and adding a charm, gem and Bow, using ribbon from my stash..
I hope you like this card, and I would love to see you over in the Imagination Crafts Challenge, there is a Fabulous £40 Voucher to spend in store...for the winner.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
That is all for now, will be back soon with another DT card, until then have a fabulous day, my friends. love and hugs xxxxx
