One Layer Card at Incy Wincy Designs

Well Monday has come around, much more quickly, than I expected, and most likely you too, thank you for all the comments on my blog over the weekend, I have a lovely time reading them.

A new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs this week...One Layer Cards....now this was a bit of an ask for me, as I have never made a One Layer card before.I am quite happy that I managed to print the image out in the middle of the A4 sheet, step one, check....coloured with Promarkers and added Sparkle to her wings..check, then came the masking...Now if I am honest, if I had not ran out of Ink for my Printer, I would have done this card again...(having a bit of a run out time, for my crafts, like card blanks, printer card, glue, and now Ink)..I would have liked to have re-done the Masking, as I feel that on the Right hand side of the card, I messed it up a little...I hope that you like her anyway, and I guess the point I am making is that if I can do a One Layer Card, anyone can do one...

Our Sponsor this week is Saturated Canary, who are kindly giving our winner 2 digis from her store, I don't know about you girls, but I just love her images and feel very honoured to be able to play with them..

Hope over to our Challenge Blog and see what the rest of our DT came up with for your inspiration.

The winners from last week can be found here, thank you for entering.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Saturated Canary - CH#50 Winged Things
Pan Pastels - CH#33 Make your Own Background
Hobbycutz - CH#13 Make your Own Background
Sweet Stamps - Monthly Challenge - Masking
Pile it On - CH#33 No Designer Papers

Have a great day my lovely friends, be back tomorrow, with a new challenge from Creative Craft Challenges2.....love and hugs xxx

Lovely creation Avril. I have this image but have not coloured her as yet. One layer cards are really hard to do and this is stunning.

She is just adorable Avril. I wouldn't re-do her seeing any little mistakes we see others don't plus it makes her a OOAK :) and shows she's hand made not mass produced

Wow - Avril - this is lovely! I think one-layer cards are one of the toughest. This would be a challenge for me! However, you've done it beautifully - it's amazing how you got the image to print in the right spot on the cardstock - I am in awe! And I love your swirly background. Well done on this, Avril!
