Read all about it at Incy Wincy Designs

Happy Monday, my lovely friends and blog readers, well I am in Cupar, with my darling daughter and handsome grandson, and as you can see, I am a bit late again, posting this, Noah, is just too cute, for words and full of smiles and stories, and his Mum keeps chatting, whilst I am trying to concentrate, LOL.

Well onto the important things, at Incy Wincy Designs, this week we want "Read all about it", something to do with books, smash book pages, or the word "book"...I had my dad's very old dictionary, which I was going to rip a page out off, but could not do it, I am terrible, about defacing, books and magazines...so I scanned a couple of pages, made them old with the help of teabags and coffee, then diecut the butterflies and corners from it...the "Magical Titbit Owl" image is from Bugaboo Stamps, which is our sponsor this week, I also die-cut the word "Book" and added ribbon to it...hope you like him...Pop over to see our DT team and Guest DT's work for some inspiration and join us please

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

2 Sisters - CH#153 - Stars
Bloggers - Things with Wings
Digi Haven - Any Animal
Rhedd and Rosie - Challenge 11 - Anything Goes

Have a great day xxxx

Very nice, Avril! I like how you used a copy of dictionary page and tea-stained it. I don't like to deface books either! Enjoy your visit with your daughter and grandson!

What a very pretty, "Wise Old Owl" card, Avril! Love the brown tones and the coloring to produce feather like shading on the owl! Very cute with the alphabet making him appear wise, and the nice butterflies representing nature. Lovely! hugs, de

I love how you did the diecut and butterflies with newspapers. I myself have no problem repurposing old papers and books, especially if they have no other use. Did you dab teabags onto the paper or just spill it on like I've done before. Of course not on purpose, lol! Great card!
