WK21 - A Touch of Tartan - at Sophisticats

As promised my 2nd post for today, it is MY challenge this week, at Sophisticats WK21 which is "A Touch of Tartan" this the 5 year anniversary of loosing my dear dad, who was my very best friend, so in his honour, I have choosen this weeks challenge, he taught me everything there was too know about Dancing, (and life in actual fact) Scottish Country, Ballroom & Jazz....and he was Scottish through and through, his name was Bruce Cameron Robertson,  the Robertson's were a CLAN, from Struan... he was very proud off his roots....so a "touch of tartan" girls, does not have to be much...the girls on the DT have utterly rocked this challenge, so thanks girls for that, we were kindly given some amazing digis to use from Judy at Digital Ink Co, who are sponsoring our challenge this week...and Judy was a star in her own right this week, when she helped me to download ZIP files....I was tearing my hair out and even went off to bed one night in the huff....LOL...but she helped and within 5 minutes I was printing Images like no-ones business...so meet Ella, isn't she just gorgous....so to win 3 fabulous digi images, take part in our challenge this week.  We are also introducing 2 New DT Members the lovely Tasha and Diane, I am looking forward to getting to know these girls....so pop over and give them a huge welcome.....I am off to do some more crafting, try to get through this day, as best I can....love to all....Avril xxxxxx

Your dad would be real proud of you Avril in choosing this theme in memory of him. Your card is beautiful - I do love this image which you have coloured so beautifully - the glitz is awesome. Ooh your tartan ribbons and bow are awesome and show her off to perfection.

Big hugs Avril, so sorry but was away from the laptop yesterday & only catching up now. Your Dad would be so proud that you have dedicated your challenge to him hun. It is things like these that help get us through our grief. Sometimes we buy a plant or flowers to remember them for anniversaries but how lucky are we Avril to beable to create something with our crafts which is totally unique to them, and we can keep them forever. Thinking of you darl, hugs Clare xxx

p.s your card is beautiful x
