Shades of Autumn

Morning ladies, before I tell you about my entry for the Tuesday Taggers, Shades of Autumn week, I need to let you know that I have been made a FULL TIME DT member off this awesome team, I was invited initially for a 3 month period that would have been up in November and found out last week that myself and the other part-time members were made up to full time, I don't need to tell you how over the moon I was, as you know how happy I was with my part-time post initially, I learn something new from this team of girls every week, and every week, I want to try something new and exciting (purse permitting off course, LOL)

Now onto the challenge, with Shades of Autumn springing up all over the place, the colours are everywhere we look.   As you can see by my blog this is my favourite season of the year, when the leaves turn from green to gold, soft to crunchy, and you can walk through them and feel the crunch under your it.   I tried with my limited amount of inkpads to copy the colours of an autumn leaf, I really do need to invest in more inkpads, more appropriate for colouring paper and cardstock, but I am quite happy with the result,   It is an ATC, with an Owl coloured in brown over the coloured card.   I love Owls, they are beautiful and wise and I take every opportunity to see them in real life, be it at a park or a shopping centre where they give you a chance to handle them, I love the way they look right through you and wish I knew what they were thinking.....I urge you all to take part in the Tuesday Taggers challenge this week and for more fantastic inspiration pop over and checkout my fellow DT's project, I am in Awe off these fantastic girls and feel I am on a learning curve every week, so come on girls give us your support and enter this weeks challenge. Hugs to you ALL Avril xxxx

Congratulation on your promotion! It would have been hard for them to let you go anyway, so I think that they have done the right thing by you.

Hi Avril
Love your ATC absolutely fabulous but then I do love all things wild and owls are no exception. I live in the Yorkshire Dales and regularly go out at night to follow the owls around the village. Thanks for your effort and you deserve a full time place.
