No Cake for Granny

Well hi all a new day dawns, I am feeling a good bit better today, I am loaded up with painkillers and Red Bull (yes, I feel like I could fly, LOL). I am not happy with my grandson though, he did not bring me cake home from the party, I love, love cake, any cake, wee cakes, big cakes, chocolate cakes, oh my mouth is watering. I showed him my war wounds, and said to him, you just can't get the grandson's these days, and would you believe it, he replied, that's not true granny you have got me!!!!!!!. Well I just had to laugh, cute or what, I do love cake, but I have to say I love him more and I am so lucky as I do have him here every day, giving me something to get up for and sruggle through the hours awake. Here is a picture of my gorgeous grandchildren helping their grandad blow out their grandad's Birthday Cake the big 50 in February. Off to see if there is a challenge I can do this week. love you all, and thanks for leaving your kind comments, it really does make a bad day good. Hugs Avril xxxx
