GDT at Craft My Life: All Crafts Challenge

Yes it is me back again, LOL...promise this is my last post of the day...

I was fortunate to win the April/May challenge at Craft My Life:All Crafts Challenge, and was very happy when Elaine, contacted me and asked me to be a GDT for August and September..so here is my 1st Project...this is a NO CARDS challenge.

Coasters
I started off by Covering both sides with Modge Podge, when this dried, I painted the back of the coasters with a Decoart Cinnamon Brown, acrylic paint, so that it looked like Cork again. I then adhered the papers with Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Glue, I then went round the edges of the coasters with Cocoa Dew Drop Ink Pad.  Once everything was dry, I applied a coat of Decoart Dura Clear Varnish to both sides.

I bought these Cork Coasters a while back, and thought this was the perfect time to use them.  I also bought, some of the Madame Payraud papers, from Mc Oyster Paper Crafts, and found that I did not want to cut them up and cover them up, LOL...Now they take pride of place on my Coffee Table.  I hope you like them.

I would like to enter these coasters into the following challenges:-

Altered Eclectics - August - Anything Goes (Altered Art, only)
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - Anything Goes - Using Patterned Paper
Mema's Crafts - August - Anything Goes
PunkyouGirl - Anything Goes (Dark, Gothic,Steampunk)
Simply Create Too - CH#67 Old/Vintage
Through the Craft Room Door - TTCRD 29 July - 4 August - Anything Goes

Thank you for bearing with me today, I truly appreciate your support and comments on my blog..xxxx
