Hi all my dear friends, how I have missed you all, I have been computer less for 2 months, and my Uncle has kindly loaned me his PC so that I can get back online, How Fabulous is HE, Mike is my Uncle, but I have always thought off him as a big brother, as there is only 6 years between us, him being older off course, LOL.
I will try and give you an update of things that have happened over the last 2 months, last time we spoke, I was going off to a Craft Retreat with Tuesday Taggers and what a fabulous time we had, it was so great meeting the girls that I have been working with since July in the Flesh, and they are now ALL very dear and lifelong friends...
My Computer broke whilst in transit that week, then my poor Dog Fudge, started treatment for Cancer of her Lady Bits, she is 12 years old and fighting all the way, as are we, but you can imagine how huge the VETS bills are, hence the computer still being in the menders..
I have not been making any Cards, as I have boxes and boxes off them, but I have been altering items, for my daughters room, I will take a picture, once I find the Camera lead, another thing that I have not used since the weekend away.....
I have been spending quality time with my Son Kenneth, who is going off to the Army on 10th October this year, something he has wanted for many years, but was rejected at 16 as he suffered migraines, as a teenager, but he applied again, and has been accepted, so goes to Yorkshire (I place I LOVE) to start training in October, and I am sure that once he is away, he will not be home much, and I will miss him greatly.
Today I am going off to Glasgow with Jenny, whose exams finished yesterday, and she is being treated to a nice Dress, for a wedding that she is going to in June....so I am off to have a bath and get ready, very soon.
I will be back tomorrow as Winter Wonderland and Tuesday Taggers have welcomed me back, after my long absence, and I think with everything going on, that is what I will be concentrating on, I have stepped down, from ECP and Sophisticats, and am trying to contact Linnie at CDM, I have missed you all desperately, but, have enjoyed this 2 months, just concentrating on my family, who support me so well, with my illness and my crafting, so it was a kind off thank you to them, for all their support, i.e. my Son woke me up this morning at 5.30 with a Cup of Tea and my Tablets (as they take about 2 hours to kick in in the morning). and he ran my bath, how fabulous is that.....I am going to miss him....
I will be back to normal tomorrow girls, if I can find my camera bits....OUCH....Hope you are all keeping very well, I LOVE you all so much and look forward to seeing your creations and being in touch again....Avril xxxxxxx
